What This Service Is

SiteScanReport provides automated website scanning and reporting. Our tools analyze publicly accessible websites and generate reports covering automated accessibility indicators relevant to WCAG/ADA review, privacy mechanism detection, selected security configuration analysis, and, in some cases, automated or AI-assisted narrative summaries of those findings. Any such narrative summaries are provided for explanatory and informational purposes only and do not constitute independent factual findings, legal conclusions, or professional judgments.

We are a technology company. We are not a law firm, a provider of legal advice, a licensed accessibility auditor, a certified security assessor, an auditor, a compliance certification body, a regulatory authority, or a substitute for review by a qualified human professional. Any automated or AI-assisted output we provide is not legal advice, an expert opinion, or a certification.

Automated Scanning Limitations

Automated testing tools — including ours — can detect only certain accessibility issues and indicators, including only those portions of WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria that can be evaluated by software based on the publicly accessible content and code our systems are able to detect at the time of the scan. Automated and AI-assisted analysis may also omit relevant context, misinterpret page elements, or describe findings in generalized terms. The remaining criteria require evaluation by a qualified human specialist, including:

A report showing zero violations does not mean your website is fully accessible or compliant with WCAG, the ADA, or any other accessibility law, regulation, or standard. It means only that our automated tools did not detect violations among the criteria they are capable of evaluating based on the information available to them at the time of the scan, and it should not be interpreted as an assurance of compliance.

Not Legal Advice

Nothing in any SiteScanReport report, on this website, or in any communication from SiteScanReport constitutes legal advice, a legal opinion, legal representation, or legal guidance of any kind, and nothing we provide — including any automated or AI-assisted summary, recommendation, prioritization, or explanation — is a representation that your website complies with any law, regulation, settlement obligation, or standard.

If you require legal advice regarding ADA compliance, WCAG conformance, GDPR, CCPA, or any other legal or regulatory matter, you should consult a qualified attorney. If you require accessibility, privacy, security, or technical remediation guidance, you should also consult qualified human specialists in those fields.

Not a Compliance Certification

SiteScanReport does not certify, attest, warrant, or guarantee that any website is compliant with the ADA, Section 508, WCAG, GDPR, CCPA, or any other law, regulation, or standard. Our reports are not compliance certifications, attestations, or guarantees and should not be characterized or used as such.

Any references to those frameworks are informational only, reflect automated mapping or comparison criteria we use for reporting purposes, and are not a substitute for legal review or qualified human assessment.

Regulatory and standards compliance assessments may require legal review and qualified human evaluation. Automated scanning is one input into that process, not a substitute for it. You remain solely responsible for determining whether, when, and how to investigate, prioritize, remediate, or disclose any issue identified in a report and for deciding whether additional legal, accessibility, privacy, security, or technical review is appropriate.

Privacy Analysis Scope

Our privacy analysis detects the presence or absence of privacy mechanisms and indicators — such as privacy policies, cookie consent banners, opt-out links, third-party tracking scripts, and data collection forms. It may also include automated or AI-assisted descriptive summaries of those observable elements. It does not evaluate substantive legal compliance or determine whether your website or business complies with any privacy law or regulation, and it does not evaluate:

Security Analysis Scope

Our security analysis is limited to selected externally observable indicators, including HTTP response header configuration and SSL/TLS certificate setup. Reports may include automated or AI-assisted descriptions of those indicators. The Service is not a penetration test, vulnerability assessment, exploitability analysis, application code review, architecture review, infrastructure audit, or any other comprehensive security review.

A strong security grade means only that the items we measured appear properly configured at the time of scanning. It does not certify the absence of security vulnerabilities in your application, infrastructure, configurations, or dependencies. You are solely responsible for assessing whether any reported issue warrants further investigation, remediation, validation, or monitoring by qualified personnel.

Point-in-Time Analysis

Scan results and findings reflect the condition of your website only at the date and time the scan was performed. Websites, code, content, headers, third-party scripts, consent tools, and configurations change over time. A report produced on a given date reflects only the conditions our systems detected on that date and should not be relied on as a statement about future or continuous compliance or security. Subsequent changes to your website or to third-party technologies may materially affect the continued accuracy or usefulness of any prior report.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SiteScanReport LLC disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, and punitive damages arising out of or relating to the Service, including any use of or reliance on any report or automated or AI-assisted output, and its total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount paid for the scan giving rise to the claim. See our Terms of Service for the complete limitation of liability provisions.
